Renaissance is a psychological horror video game where PC and the user's real mobile phone are combined to create a completely new and different experience.

Enter the Hospital and enjoy an adventure like you have never done before, where your phone will be your inseparable companion and at the same time your worst enemy. Discover the story, and solve completely new puzzles. Use the microphone of your mobile, look at the gallery, check the messages, play the music ... and get ready.

Will you be able to discover everything that the Hospital hides? Be careful as your mobile can also be your worst enemy. Decide which call to answer and which one to not, as the whole story can change.

Turning off your PC will no longer be an option to stop having terror. You know when you start playing Renaissance, but not when it stops playing with you through your mobile.

Renaissance bases its main gameplay on the use of the user's real mobile phone.

To do this, both PC and device are connected wirelessly and automatically so that the player does not have to worry about during the adventure. With this, your mobile will pretend to be the device of the game character. Thus, all the messages, audios, WordsApps, photos, emails that you receive will reach your real mobile and you will decide what to do with all that information.

You will receive calls, messages, images, videos ... and you will decide what to do with all that information. It will be your guide along your way. Your key. Your way to escape. Your pursuer. You will no longer know who to trust. Learn to play using 2 devices, and solve original puzzles that you have never seen before.

You can also discover much more about the history and the world of the character whenever you want through your mobile. If you can't find the solution to a riddle, or you have doubts, don't worry. You will be able to use the application independently and discover much more about the video game.

With an interface that simulates the combination of the 2 most used mobile devices today, you will know from the first moment how to control the device and what each application works for.

Much of the project time was used to develop technology in all its possible sections to offer a video game that lives up to what users expect and what the industry can offer at that time.

 

For this reason, the production of a game is carried out that minimizes the loading screens, with a real-time load of all the sites. Also an interior space that shows the best advances in graphic technologies, alternating with different styles. Modern, destroyed and old.

 

Furthermore, "Renaissance" is the first video game that combines the use of 2 graphics engines, Unreal Engine and Unity for PC and mobile respectively, breaking the barrier of the 2 engines to offer a unique experience for the player.

Graphics

Using the Unreal Engine graphics engine, we have one of the best tools to produce rich and detailed environments that are capable of telling a story on their own. In addition, we use the PBR (Physically Based Rendering) technique that allows all the elements of the video game to reflect light in the most similar way to how they would in real life. With this we can get closer to realism without consuming too many resources.

Development is done in a modular way. With this, it is easier for us to create new and different rooms of the locations, which benefits the players when it comes to having a much richer world to explore and that contributes a story in itself.

Therefore you can enjoy outdoor environments with realistic rain, modern environments where reflections and metallic materials shine according to reality. Ruined night spaces that interact with light in each flash, reflection ... environments that reveal much more depending on the flashlight and its color. And old spaces where the wood has been eaten away by humidity and the passage of time, where the land gains ground and the spaces are demolished.

Sound

In any video game, sound must be one of the most important aspects to be treated and cared for, or at least that is what we believe in at Vyretrux Games. For this reason, music and deep sound effects were developed from the beginning of production, with nuances, realistic and that introduce the player much more into the adventure.

 

The music should emphasize the moment of the adventure in which the player is, also knowing how to play with moments where there is no music whatsoever, there is only silence, being able to achieve more tension. The environment must have sounds according to the location, with realistic effects that allow even knowing what has sounded even without seeing it. That is why in Renaissance all these aspects are taken care of to the maximum.

 

Even the environment produces sounds randomly to increase the realism of a scene. After all, the world around us produces random sounds, cracks, and more. If we want realism in videogames ... why don't we do it that way too?

 

Also create music that the character can listen to on his mobile. 100% original music that expresses more about his personality.
